Dear Park Winters Family,

We can't believe it's already the middle of the year! We have so much to be grateful for and so much to look forward to like one of our favorite times of the year: Sunflower Season! Very soon the Yolo Countryside will be beaming with endless sunflower fields which never fail to make a lasting impression on us. To make things even more exciting, we are growing a wide variety of our own sunflowers this year for our Pick Your Own Bouquet experience!

This month we are also celebrating Father's Day and to make things easier for you, we've put together a great selection of gift sets for dad that will be sure to please!

A Chat with Farmer Ryan

Q: Hey Ryan! What's going on at the Farm?

Ryan:
We just planted zucchini squash, watermelon, and cucumber. They are to be expected in the summer. The turnips, radish and carrots we previously planted are flowering at the moment. Also, the bees are loving the artichokes and cardoons that are blooming! We've also successfully composted a large pile of food waste into a very rich a nutritious soil that we will be using to plant more flowers around the farm for our Pick your Own Bouquet experience.

If you'd like to learn more about our farm book a tour with Farmer Ryan!
